I think Alex is a likely answer, but there could be more than one person involved. It really could be Jonas's parents -- especially since the dialogue in that last vid talked so much about being reunited with family. But that also points toward Alex, so you're probably right.
It would be cool if Gemma were involved, but I don't think she could be doing it by herself because of the Sid the Clown clue to Jonas.
