I was shocked to find out that she was really British. I'm thinking that maybe we were supposed to question her accent... but most people just attributed it to bad acting, lol.

Hi i just want to confirm that the 'accent' in the gemma videos is jakkis natural voice, I needed to confirm that because if people think shes doing a 'bad job' at something when shes not doing anything at all.. well it makes her appear less talented then she is.. when in fact jakki is very talented

she is my friend in real life and i get my nz accent back a little when i speak with her

I personally always thought she sounded Australian...ish.

Her accent is very similar to that. They tend to add and "wr" sound after an "o" so home sounds like howrm, no sounds like nowr etc.

American girl doing a very shoddy accent.

I figured she was from some place. Because an American doing an English accent would NOT sound like Gemma.

The thing that made me think she was trying to fake SOMETHING was that there would be breaks in her accent.

If this was real life (and maybe if she was younger), I would assume she is changing her accent to match the location. I went through that.
