i'm with sami on this one. we saw the transcript from his dad. why would they have something like taht if they werei n the order?

If there was an anti-Order group, the Order would kill it. They would have taken the manuscript to prevent anyone else from seeing it, and when they needed something to prove Jonas' "innocence" to Bree and Daniel, they gave it to him.

but why would they keep it? bree and daniel (or even tachy) could use it against them! they should of destroyed it.

For a situation exactly like that, where they needed to infiltrate. Anyway, I'm still undecided on Jonas' parents. Scenario #1, Jonas' parents have been in Order all along, as well as Jonas. Scenario #2 Jonas' parents were working against the Order, and when the Order kidnapped them they took Jonas and brainwashed him into being their minion.

We see him arrive in the attic in the video, but not actually look for anything before Daniel finds him. I'm going to put a different spin on this, what if Jonas is a part of the Anti-Order. Thinking about it all the new information that we know about the Order has come in some way from Jonas. Where Tachyon sends a file which shows four symbols and then suddenly Bree finds one of the symbols in Jonas' house. Also the addition of the manuscript has shown Bree and Daniel that there are people who have/still are fighting the Order. It would clear up why Jonas would be so helpful to Bree and Daniel in the beginning too.

Though there are a few problems with this theory like why he wouldn't just tell them from the start but maybe he's afraid of the Order finding out and has to lead them to the next piece of information instead of just telling them. The bigger problem is why he would invite his Aunt Alex to come back unless maybe he had no idea she was a part of the Order. I don't know, but Jonas' family seems to deep into the Order [in varying ways] for him to be completely uninvolved.

That depends; is Bree or Tachyon more important to the Order? I think it has been proven the answer is Bree.

Also, it's pretty clear from the video that Jonas knew nothing about the rescue plan.

if Jonas isn't with the order then I think he has had alterior motives this whole time. Maybe he has known that the order killed his parents (or thought they did) and has been using Bree and Daniel to get information about the order. I don't think that it's a coincidence that he found the manuscript right after Bree tied him up.

2) He knows where they are all the time, because he is with them, and they are completely dependent on him for their necessities. And...he continues to use his cellphone.

3) Jonas still continues to help them out, despite Bree tying him up for days, because she found an Order-looking symbol in the cabin.

By the same reasoning couldn't Jonas be a plant for the anti order placed by Tachyon and company. Jonas has not caused any harm to either so far. Jonas may haved tipped off Tachyon when his aunt was coming to town and to get Bree out of there. He also seems very interested in who is who, if he was order wouldn't he already know. Jonas may be more interested in intercepting Bree on her way to the house than letting her come into reach of Alex. Jonas's video included the picture of Lucy, Daniel's did not. If Jonas were hiding something why would he let that slip.

Either way I do see your point he has been suspicious from the start.

Yes, you could plausibly put the spin on it that he is anti-Order (someone said that above you, I believe). However, my money is on what seems to be the most obvious; he is Order. He said some really creepy things when he first came into the picture. I'm going to post a topic about that when I get the quotes together.
