Real Women of Philadelphia is an eight-week interactive cooking contest that will begin on March 29th and end on May 23rd. Two winners will be crowned for each weekly competition, and all 16 winners will be flown to Savannah, Georgia and participate in a cook-off on June 30th. The four winners will lead the "Real Women of Philadelphia" website for the rest of 2010, star in cooking videos, and work with the community to make a cookbook.
The contest is an offshoot of Paula Deen's Cooking Club, which is the replacement for Get Cookin' with Paula Deen while it is on hiatus. The contest is hosted by Paula Deen and sponsored by Philadelphia cream cheese.
