Stargirl

Post by lordgreystoke422 »

I did a web search on illuminati and stargirl
I came up with this site...specifically
focus on the book Stargirl

about a homeschooled teenage girl that everyone calls stargirl....

Part of where I was trying to go with this was that Bree was some kind of SPECIAL person..in thelema ...she's the stargirl...maybe....stargirl=moonchild....
she is supposed to be a scorpio I think.... any important dates in thelema for dates in the scorpio range o B-days?

Spinelli's Stargirl

Post by gogo »

I had a student who did a PowerPoint presentation on this novel (Stargirl) a few years ago when we were doing an author study on Spinelli.
In sum, Stargirl is a unique individual. She calls herself Stargirl. She was homeschooled but decides to go to high school. Her unorthodox ways seem to spark excitement at her school. She becomes ridiculously popular for her antics (singing Happy Birthday to kids in the cafeteria, playing a ukulele, getting people into school spirit). However, because she is so set in her ways (being kind and cheering for anyone who makes a basket at a school basketball game--even if the player is on the opposing team), people who followed her became bored. Even her closest friend, Leo (the closest thing to a best friiend to Stargirl,) chooses to go with the crowd and ignore Stargirl.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, lordgreystoke422, but you post jogged my memory. In addition, (like everyone else) I want to uncover clues that might not seem obvious. Thanks for bringing up this novel.

Hmmm, I read that book years ago but I don't really remember it well. I think I still own it, but the problem is finding it.

*begins search through piles of books covering house*
In heaven, all the interesting people are missing...
