These videos are pretty cool - I like the music and the mood is scary/somber. "falling into place" was pretty scary.
I noticed in "I just love being awake at 3am" video you started incorporating some of the ARGish elements (encoded comment that leads to a URL, that has a video with backwards audio).
I think the ARG/puzzle stuff can be fun for some, but it does get in the way of those who just want to check out the story. In my case, once I got to the small video with backwards audio, I had no easy way to reverse it to see what it says. I opened my browser cache, found the file, copied it (it had no extension), opened it in notepad and saw it was an FLV file, renamed it to add the flv extension. I happen to have an FLV player but that does not do me any good because it does not allow me to reverse the playback. My Quicktime player allows me to "jog shuttle" in reverse to hear backwards audio properly, but it does not play .flv files.
I could play it while recording it with "Sound Recorder" and then reverse it to hear the audio ... but that's just too many steps.
Maybe others have an easier way?
So reverse audio, codes, etc. are going to narrow the audience.
I sort of feel the same way about images that flash really quickly - it can be a cool effect, but someone really wants them seen, I often wish they would slow down - mainly because YouTube and the video players seem to not support single frame stepping, so it's not always easy to pause and check out the flashing frames.
EDIT: I just found the thread about reversing audio using the free Audacity download ... looks like what I have been looking for!
