It's time for PM
If you have something about a sensitive situation that the Creators should know or some sort of important opinion, statment...whatever regarding that. Please, PM the Creators. Nobody else can do anything, here. Please. PLEASE. With a cherry on top? I can bake. I'll bake you something. Something reaaaallly lovely.

You cannot make another post so soon after your last; please try again in a short while.
Bagged, tagged, sold to the butcher at the store.

What? We're not allowed to jack threads now?
THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS. (And I'm not someone who uses caps lightly.)
Moderators, please understand: sometimes a threadjack is a lighthearted way of dealing with the original topic.
Like here. Kas offered to bake something for forumites who PM the creators rather than belabor the same issues over and over on the board.
The responses were offered in the spirit (and on the topic) of the original post. Everyone was getting so tense, and the atmosphere so contentious, that Kas posted a message that was clearly intended to lighten things up. The responses went from cherries (which were mentioned in Kas's original post), to sex (an obvious segue, IMHO), to sex with dolphins on the White House lawn. What's more, the responses came from people who were, to a large extent, at the middle of the contentious discussion of the substantive issues.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I will say that I consciously participated in the threadjack specifically to help lighten things up. And reading the other posts gives me a strong suspicion that the other posters had similar motives.
Moving all of the responses to Off the Cuff (and placing them under the idiotic heading "Dolphins & Cherries") completely neutralized the entire reason for the thread and the posts. What's more, this action was apparently taken against the wishes of the original poster (who clearly would know whether responses to her post were off-topic or not).
Moderators, please: LIGHTEN UP. Let the forum deal with interpersonal conflict in its own sweet way. Don't intervene unless it's ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to avoid hostilities. In the process, kindly be fair to ALL posters.
And leave good-natured threadjacks alone.

if it was saracasmm...lmao
if it was serious...seriously...it belonged in the off the cuff section. we have no need for censorship disucssions being brewed up over that.

*clap clap*
back on topic people!
If something is irking you, and you feel like you must bring up a heated comment...take it to PM. Your heated comment will encourage the flames. And well, as most of us know, flaming is really not smiled upon here.
Don't make the Smiley beat your ass!
