Free Will vs. Timing

I know that most of us here have subscribed to the "Free Will" theory regarding Bree and the Order, and still think it's a good possibility that this is the case. However, I've had an alternative theory running around in my brain for quite sometime, and I've posted it a few times. Here it is:

What if:

The reason the Order hasn't touched Bree so far is TIMING.

See my theory goes like this:

The fake ceremony was actually a dry run for the Orderites, but was not to be completed at that time (or was to be completed at the FALL equinox, but Daniel threw a monkey wrench in the works).

What if...

The right time is now. Another equinox.

It goes down like this:

Jonas has been assigned to watch Bree and Daniel, to make sure she stays "pure". In fact, his Order-orchestrated invitation was for that purpose, as Bree and Daniel were sleeping together in hotel rooms, and the possibility of an indiscretion was looming large in the eyes of the Order; so they have Jonas issue the invitation, and he becomes D&B's personal "Watcher". He stays with Bree and Daniel until the right time (now) and then delivers Bree into the hands of the Order via the staged scene we saw in the last vid, where Bree is on her way to Aunt Alex's house, and Daniel has left with Jonas; leaving poor Bree all alone and at the mercy of the Order when she arrives at Alex's door. Jonas's job assignment now becomes the "Watcher" of Daniel only, to make sure he doesn't have any further contact with Bree, and, thusly, eliminating any possiblity of him interfering in their precious "ceremony".

Ok, I'm done. Your turn.

ETA: Oh, and then, of course, Tachyon comes and saves Bree; Bree in turn, has to save Daniel, once again.

I agree that most of that is a possibility but then why would Jonas allow himself to be kicked out of his own house and leave them alone when he knows DB was planning something "special" for Bree? (Remember the lil chicken things)

That.. Is actually a really good idea.

But why would Jonas get mad at Alex and reveal her and whatever if Daniel was naive and had no clue?

*sighs* To get Daniel to leave with Jonas, so Bree will arrive at Aunt Alex's with no one there to interfere with the Orders plans for Bree.

Take note: Daniel never actually watched Bree's video (that we saw). He probably thinks she's still safe with Tachyon.

Maybe Alex is really Jonas's girl and he got jealous of their flirting.

This is a really good theory... but since I'm still not sure about the whole Daniel having escaped...

What if Alex took Daniel and left the camcorder for Jonas to find... and now Jonas and Bree have to get Daniel back...

And assuming Jonas is bad... Bree would be falling into Jonas' and Alex's plan...

If Jonas is truly good... then it's just another rescue mission...

I'm trying to get my brain around what you're saying here, and maybe I'm missing something... but this seems highly unlikely to me because if Jonas is the one who had the vid, and he actually uploaded it, as the description says, I don't see how this could be. The description says that him AND Daniel got out of there, and are on the road. There would be no reason for Jonas to lie about Daniel being with him if he were a good guy.

I think this is a nice idea. It's refreshing too.
The only thing I have to disagree with, is Jonas. I know how strongly you feel that he is with the Order, but I still don't think so.

I think timing is an important part of everything in the Order. There's a lot of evidence pointing towards that. Such as when they could suddenly determine that Bree would be chosen for the ceremony. How did that happen? They had to wait for her to reach the right age.

A lot of clues have also pointed towards astronomy, which is, of course, directly related to time. Bree talked a lot about her avid interest in astronomy. Her classmates began to say she was "from a star." She talks about pluto too. I can't remember other specifics, but the point is, astronomy has been a recurring motif in the LG15 series.

Lastly, when I hear time, I immediately think of Tachyon's theme song. What time is it.. time is ittttt..........

Coincidence?

I've always thought Jonas was Order, but what happened in the last vid really tied it in for me. Jonas left the house, knowing Bree was on the way there, didn't give Daniel the chance to see the video (so he doesn't know Bree has left Tachyon, and is on the way to Alex's house).

And...the nail in the coffin:

Jonas left, knowing that Bree was on the way to his aunt's house, (who he knows is in the Order). He knows that Bree coming there is putting her in danger, and yet he does nothing to stop it. In fact, he hides that fact from Daniel, and gets him away from the house. We know that Daniel wouldn't have left had he known Bree was coming there. Jonas purposely left Bree in harm's way.

I totally agree. I think it might back fire for Jonas because although Bree insinuated in her video that she was coming alone, maybe Tachyon came with her?

i've had mixed feeling about both of the ideas. People have considered both very closely, and while I agree with both...there are holes as usual.
But I think its a mixture of one and the other

Sure the order would love it if bree would choose them, but if time runs out...well then they'll grab her.

Right, Kelly. At this point, I don't think Bree will come to them willingly short of mind control. If they want her, they're going to have to snatch her.

OT
Imogene posted in the videos thread that she thought that a mind-controlled Daniel could be what "comes after" Alex. I thought that was pure genius, and would be the kind of plot twist that would have people just raving about it.
