Last night, my brother said that I probably could be diagnosed with some kind of disorder.

Curious, I said what?

He said You are Obsessed. (to LG15)

And I was going to stop him and say Noo...

But then he smiled and said, "sure. Next you'll say you could stop at any time, right?"

And I laughed because I don't think it would be that easy to just suddenly stop coming here, posting, watching the videos, ect.

How about you?

My husband would agree...especially after I picked the sewing machine that was Brother brand this weekend. I guess I babbled something about the order...Tachyon...etc.

Yes, I don't know what I'll do when the series ends and this place slowly dies. I ... I can't even think about it.

i wasnt online for a week coz of my shitty internet but i wasnt really as bothered as i normally am coz the forums starting to lose the buzz it used to have, maybe its just me but who agrees?

I think the buzz dying down is due to the videos...we had such a high 'buzz' when the Tachyon/Bree video came out..and now we are just waiting for the next 'big' video.

I think that's part of the natural life-cycle of any online community, though. Old-timers get bored. Newcomers get excited. Sometimes there's a gap between the two. When there's more newcomers than old-timers then there's lots of buzz. I think it's the other way around right now. Everything being relative, of course, because this cycle seems to be a bit accelerated compared to other communities I've been involved in.

A great deal of time is spent in activities related to Internet use (for example, buying Internet books, trying out new WWW browsers, researching Internet vendors, organizing files of downloaded materials).
Frequent talks about the Internet in daily life.
Important family, social, occupational, or recreational activities are given up or reduced in duration and/or frequency because of Internet use.
Internet use is continued despite knowledge of having a persistent or recurrent physical, family, social, occupational, or psychological problem that is likely to have been caused or exacerbated by Internet use (for example, sleep deprivation, marital difficulties, lateness for early morning appointments, neglect of occupational duties, or feelings of abandonment in significant others).
