The Girls That Make It Through The Ceremony - OpAphid

Just a theory here, but given this comment...

Would it be right to assume that OpAphid is not just one female but all the females in the videos? OpAphid is the collection of females that make it through the ceremony. They become part of this and the order. They are the most intelligent and OpAphid, although seems like one identity, is really hundreds of different girls working as one?

That's a good theory. Going through with the ceremony makes them a part of OpAphid

Why do I second guess myself! I was thinking that but never posted it cause I didnt want to be ridiculed.

Ooh, what an interesting theory. I think we need to know more about the ceremony itself before we can confirm this, though. I mean, where does the Epogen fit in with this? It would seem that if they were just looking for super-smart, loyal girls to be part of OpAphid, they wouldn't want to alter/influence them in any way, right? I mean, if they are being influenced at all by the special diet, the Epogen or whatever else, then they aren't truly that person, but a version of that person... Am I making sense?

If this theory is actually correct, I doubt that Bree's mum is one of the OpAphid girls. I don't think she would've been assigned to raise Bree if she was. We know that Bree's mum is indeed high up in The Order, but I still doubt that one of those elite girls who were chosen for the ceremony and such would be assigned to such a menial task.

Also, remember that he parents weren't allowed to attend the ceremony? I would imagine that if Bree's mum was one of the OpAphid girls, she would've been involved in, or at least allowed to attend, the ceremony.

*shrug* Just my opinion, obviously.

that makes total sense. i mean, where did we get the idea that opaphid was one person- it is after all "operation aphid", not indicating one single person at all, but a whole organization
