Reminiscent of The Da Vinci Code?

First off, lemme say that I've only seen the movie rendition of The Da Vinci Code.

Anyways, I've noticed some small similarities between Bree's situation and the situation in The Da Vinci Code. The Order chasing her...a fake family...etc.

I haven't seen the movie in a while but I still can see some similarities. Anybody willing to help me elaborate?

I have been trying so desperately not to think about that possibility. XP I like the series, but I think turning it into the Da Vinci Code would just ruin it. Come up with something new!

It has certain similarities to The Da Vinci Code, as you've noted, but the symbology here is much deeper and more varied, and the layers of meaning and double meanings just weren't there in DVC. If The Da Vinci Code was a Bugs Bunny cartoon, this is a combination of Ulysses and Catch-22.
