The smiley was added to accommodate our brothers and sisters who have been joining us from the video comments section. As for what it means... Ummm... I swear there was a wikipedia entry just the other day...

I like the new people! Most are extremely friendly, and it's nice to get an infusion of new ideas. The

smiley was just added because it's a fun thing to say! I'm sure in the future we could add more...
