Why, it was only yesterday that you were a regular Forum perv, er, member like the rest of us. And now you're a Site Admin? My, how you've grown!
Okay, silliness over. I've told you many times before but I want you to know how much your friendship means to me. I never expected to encounter Lonelygirl15 back in September, join the Forum and meet someone like you. Honestly, I figured I'd lurk for a few days, make a post or two and hightail it out of here. But then I began having posting conversations with a few people on here (which can be seen as accidental threadjacking...), developed bonds with each of them, and the Party Thread was born! And who started that thread again?
You've always been a friendly voice of reason - not only to me but with the majority of the members on this Forum! They really owe you a lot, but so do I. You've talked me out of some pretty sad moments. You never fail to make me smile.
While you're mostly known for your staunch advocacy of a stuffed turtle and your kind disposition in every communication (yes, even the Party Thread!), I'll always remember you for those lazy autumn Sundays. I'd be avoiding a paper or stressed about something, not really in the mood to talk, and receive a private message from you. We'd swap song lyrics back and forth and that was communication enough.
We've relished our similarities and accepted our differences together. And while it's fun to be silly on the Forum, I've really enjoyed our deeper conversations. I treasure you as a friend and hope we don't lose contact. I'm very thankful you're here and that I can call you my friend, even if it's just on the Forum.
