More to the Drop?
I read a lot of spy books and they talk about finding hidden messages by writing in an invisible ink that can only be seen if you put lemon juice on it, and another one where you can only see it if a black light is shined on it.
I think there's more to the drop that Luv got at Petaluma, especially the blank card! Maybe there's a hidden message on it! She should dip it in lemon juice and check! What do you think?

This is a very interesting idea, acifingers. Why didn't we think of it before?
Any invisible ink can be made visible if you're really determined, Luv, but the limitation is generally time available and the fact that one cannot apply hours of effort to every single piece of paper. Successful use of invisible ink depends on not arousing suspicion.
There are some signs that tell if there is invisible ink. Notice any pen scratches from a sharp pen? Perhaps roughness or changed reflectivity of the paper (It could be duller or shinier, it really all depends)? These should be pretty obvious if you make use of a strong light or magnifying glass.
Also, are there any key words written on the envelope or dominos? Key words in the visible letter, such as 'red cabbage' or 'heat', in an odd context may alert a censor to the use of invisible ink. I doubt they would use invisible ink on glossy or very smooth paper, since the sizing of these papers prevents ink from being absorbed deep into the paper and it is easily visible, especially when the paper is examined under glancing light, so you may not have to worry about that.
Luv, do you have an iodine fume cupboard? If so, messages can be quickly screened for invisible ink and also read without first permanently developing the invisible ink. An ultraviolet light could work, too.
Let us know if you find anything!!

Unfortunately, I don't have one. I'm thinking dipping it in the lemon juice will be the best option at this point.shifty wrote: Luv, do you have an iodine fume cupboard? If so, messages can be quickly screened for invisible ink and also read without first permanently developing the invisible ink.

I think so as well. I'm going to go ahead and dispatch some Private Messages (PMs) to Acidfingers, letting him know some theories I've had about this. I'm hoping that, perhaps if we're lucky, we can get a hold of Luv As Soon As Possible (ASAP), and let her know of this breakthrough.Jewelybug wrote:Shifty. Between you and acid... we should have this drop figured out in no time. YAY!
