Shes not worried...

Bree knows something, shes not telling the whole story. Shes not worried about her parents much at all. Shes rather nochalant about the whole situation. Daniel is the one that is paniking.

I think she isn't giving us the whole story..

Anyone with me on this?

I completely agree. She has been hiding information from the very beginning. She stated way back then that she didn't like to talk about her religion.

She knows the Order is everywhere, she also knows she can't go home. It is time for her to come clean and tell Daniel and us everything. I think she KNOWS she can trust Jonas too.

I am not saying I trust Jonas though.

Yeah, she needs to come clean. Still, it can't be too bad, because she is eating food from dumpsters. That would be a breaking point for me if I was in trouble. And it doesn't seem like she is doing anything against Daniel, because she wants to go to Jonas. Unless she's some type of maneater.

I think she's just unwilling to deal with reality. Her tendency to play with stuffed animals (when she is far too old for such things) just shows that she prefers to live in a fantasy world sometimes. I think she just isn't dealing with how she really feels. The videos keep showing her getting really sad suddenly because she isn't dealing with how she feels and sometimes it just overwhelms her.

However, you may be right. She might know more than she lets on.

I suggested this at the very beginning when they went on the run. That Bree isn't as worried about her parents as we feel she should be because she knows they're not in real danger. Or, perhaps, she just assumes they're not in real danger.

After all, if you've been brought up in a church, and a clergyman/woman takes your parents somewhere, you wouldn't assume they're going to be killed or tortured. Bree's uncertain and suspicious, but she hasn't had any evidence that her "faith" causes any harm to anyone. The most she's heard is Gemma's story about a family disappearing.

So either Bree knows they're not in real danger but she may be, or she just assumes that no one's going to seriously harm them...

I think Broken kid is exactly right- but conversely, I think she knows that she could be in a lot of danger- which is why she is willing to live on the streets. I think ti would be very interesting to see what her parents said in the note. I hope that we will get to see it soon- and I suspect that we might because the creators brought it out again in the "Thanksgiving" video.

I would love for OpAphid or someone to do a video showing her parents alive and well somewhere, even if not free... it would go a long way toward solidifying how much danger Bree and others really are in...

Edit: And wouldn't it be fun if her parents told her to go to Jonas'? then we would all have to wonder if it were coerced, or if it were really a good idea.

She definently knows more than shes letting on. And Daniel knows that she is too. He tried getting out of her a couple videos ago..

I wonder why she wont tell him.. is it something really bad and she doesnt want Daniel to freak out... or is she afraid anything she says could endanger her parents? Maybe part of her religion and her "not really liking to discuss it" was because she wasnt ALLOWED to discuss it...

They may have drilled it into her head from a very small age that something bad would happen if she were to reveal certain things... You know as a child what our parents and elders tell us sticks with us a lot of the time, even as we grow up.

I hope we learn more about it soon... whether it be directly from bree, or though a different type of revelation.. either way I anxious to know!

I don't know about everyone else, but if I was Bree I'd be mad at my parents. Everything is their fault! "Bree, you should be in this ceremony. It is a great honor." "Bree, you should follow this diet" "Bree, you should take these pills" "Bree, let me give you these unidentified injections".
There are more but I don't want to sit here and write them all.
It is also their fault btw that she is incapable of acting like an adult (or even a mature teenager) in this situation. They have conditioned her to act this way by sheltering her and forcing her live in her own little world.

I think Bree is just acting the way she has been taught to act. Dependent and secretive. I sort of think that Bree doesn't know anything to reveal, and anything she does know probably isn't even true anyway.

That was another thing I was thinking when they went on the run. You reminded me, Luv... Maybe Bree is unsure if anyone's in danger, but she knows she doesn't want to do this "mysterious" ceremony, so she's staying away long enough for the date to pass (Dec 10, anyone?), and then she'll feel comfortable going home...

Good point.....I think 12/10/06 is the next possible date for SOMETHING to happen.

However, I think we can all agree Bree knows more than she's telling Daniel. Why wouldn't she tell him? I'm guessing because she knows that whatever she tells him will cause him to do something she doesn't want, which is going to the police. So whatever she knows is bad enough to send Daniel straight to the authorities, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
