Whatever happened to the ceremony?

I posted this in a thread about a completely different topic, but didn't really want to jack that thread (at least not intentionally), so I'm posting it again here.

Whatever happened to the ceremony? I had definitely gotten the impression that the ceremony had to take place by a particular date/time. Has that date/time already passed? Has the entire Order missed out on their huge special ceremony because of Bree? If so, I can see why they might be pissed at her. But we need some more information. Let's get the storyline back to the damned ceremony!

some people think it might be 12-10-2006 for the actual date of the ceremony.. *shrugs*

Good question. I assume that if the ceremony was getting close, they would just knab Bree and force her to do it, so maybe it's coming soon?

I do wish they'd kind of get the whole plot thing going a little more.

Hmmm... that possibility makes a lot of sense, actually, since the month-day-year format is a U.S. thing... and it's entirely reasonable that Bree, having lived in New Zealand and the UK, would use the more common day-month-year format.

I think that the ceremony had more to do with the qualities that Bree maintains more than the date... Her purity bonds are still intact aren't they? I think they abandoned the date when they abandoned Thelema.... when they passed Crowleymas they kind of had to do that...( I was going along with a Babalon Rising thing back then.... which actually did not require a specific date...it fit for the time, connected Thelema and the cultlike action, since L.Ron Hubbard has been accused of quite a few controlling behaviors.. I dunno, maybe I was stretching!) I would love it if it were Dec. 10, that would restore my faith in some sort of planning for this saga...I know that the Creators needed to be sensitive to the viewers and their beliefs, but I still think that that there are too many dead ends for this to be anchored in any kind of reality that we are able to reearch!

I don't think Bree has been keeping up the purity bond- or at least the diet part of it. I know she's had popcorn from the movies and I don't see that being on the Order's "Purity Menu."

December 10th would be fantastic! I'm ready for something real to happen- like the "On the run" vid.

I still don't know of any specific historical event that's associated with December 10th and that might be relevant to LG15. For October 12 we had Crowley's birthday. Anyone know of any significant events that took place December 10?
