Their primary purpose is to sell goods but there is a secrecy among them and they hate outside intrusion. They recruit people to sell their junk.
I know a woman I worked with in Cincinnati area (Mason, OH) was involved in one that specifically sold CANDLES - and Bree has a Candle-opera as well as a whole shrine of candles in front of her picture of Alexter Crowley. Apparently that's the hot item being sold by MLM'ers today, that along with the "Pampered Chef" cooking parties they throw.
One other thing I noticed - do you suppose that Alexter Crowley is the same person that Ozzie Osborne sings about in his mega-smash-hit, "Mr. Crowely"??? There is a line in it about scattering the Afterbirth, which is what they might have done at Bree's secret ceremony if she did indeed give birth to a demon-child, as many people in this forum have speculated.
