Ummm, maybe I am in the minority... but perhaps the "official" LG15 site shouldn't be linking to images of female genitalia in the CiW forum

Put a age restriction on the CiW Boards or a disclaimer that it contains content and posters(that part is a joke) that could be deemed offensive by some.
Then leave it alone.

Revver rates it videos..put ratings on your boards if you want to do anything..

The baby playing peak-a-boo MIGHT not be cannon...
but CROWLEY a man that engaged in sex majick IS..so..that is GONNA leave open a LOT of discussions that are in my opinion a lot more offensive to most than a woman giving birth...

Not me, I was breech... Which means I came out mooning the world. And I still feel pretty much the same way about it.

As far as the complaint goes, a warning might be in order, but not outright censoring it from the site... I mean, I saw a birthing video in 5th grade sex-ed! In public school, no less.

This is the exact problem that is trying to be discussed right now. All of the LG15 videos are PG, all of the acceptable (those that are accepted at this site) response videos are also PG. This board is suppose to be PG. There is nothing officially related to LG15 that is not rated PG. So, this brings us to an odd position of how to support a series which is not PG on a PG site.

The big different between LG and CiW is one implies things, the other explicitly shows them. Crowley has almost no direct involvement in the series at all. There has only been a picture in the background, there is only circumstantial evidence that he may be a bigger element in the story and there is no evidence at all that sex magik is. Where as with CiW there is no guess work involved in trying to decide if there is non-PG related material included in the series. She directly shows her audience these images.

Until we can decide how to support a non-PG series like CiW on the official board, we ask that people not embed such images and when linking to them they include a disclaimer explaining exactly the content of the images

another idea would be just to eliminate all the ciw threads and move them to a forum of their own. i mean, if i wanted to a start a spinoff called Bree's Toenail Clippings, i wouldn't expect to get a dedicated forum here no matter how popular it got. the only reason i can see that ciw has a dedicated forum is that it happened to be a hot topic of conversation when this new forum was created after the old phorum collapsed. if the ciw thing was created now, i don't see it getting its own billing.

Except there is fairly strong evidence indicating the creators of Lonelygitl15 for responsibility for Cassieswatching. So they themselves are the ones to blame for this violation of "PG". (It really disturbs me that MPAA ratings are permiating other walks of life, especially other, more independent mediums of communication)

But Jesus H. Christ, it was not a picture of Ron Jeremy having sex with a blonde porn star. It was a close-up of a WOMAN GIVING BIRTH. Do you realize how deranged you guys are getting? It's a WOMAN GIVING BIRTH. What on Earth is wrong with that?

Terryfic and other moderators. For now, please just place a warning in the CiW Forum heading. Just make people aware. DO NOT censor content, nothing they have done so far is blatantly explicit

I can already feel the flames coming but...

I tend to agree with milowent. Somehow I don't see that happening tho, because traffic (unrelated to LG15 or not) == revenue. However, there is also an "image" issue at work here. If the creators of the series are now trying to draw the fans away from YouTube and over to this site they need to pay attention to the brand image that is projected here. Right now CiW is very explicit and very unlike LG15. We have pictures of murder scenes, etchings of torture, poems about priests engaged in sexual acts, advice on "staking out" private venues used in the videos, and other obviously non-PG/kid-friendly material. Personally, I think it should be on its own site. It has already been stated that the threads are too difficult to manage in one forum, a whole "cassieiswatching" site could solve that issue and keep it segregated from the legitimate (non fan created) content. While this idea is probably "controversial" to some of the ARG folks -- if they think about it, they may see it would actually be beneficial to them.
