South of Nowhere and LG15

Does anyone here watch South of Nowhere? Because I was thinking of writing an a/u fic that kinda incoporated both lonleygirl and south, but I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in reading it? Commentsssss...

So here's the first chapter, its really short because I'm managing a regular fic too, but I wanted to give you at least a taste by today. I hope you like it!

Spashley Faction: The Resistance

Chapter One- Sing

I closed the youtube box in front of me and sank back into my chair, still laughing at the video. I love it when she proves science wrong.
I know it seems kind of weird to religiously watch someone’s videos whom I’ve never even talked to and I’m not usually one to listen as people go on about their lives, but its an interesting vlog. And besides, its kind of like my job now, anyway. To watch her, I mean.
Yeah, that’s right. Me, Ashley Davies, a watcher at seventeen. Too young for a watcher, I know, but it sort of makes sense if you think about it. Other than the preparations, she’s pretty much kept in the dark about the ceremony, including the watcher aspect. She started getting freaked out when she noticed strange old men in suits following her around and she got into the habit of, well, outrunning them. I can’t say I blame her, I’d have done the same thing. But this put the Elders in an awkward position. They needed to protect her, but it seemed the watchers were just putting her at a greater risk. That’s where I came in. As a girl her own age, I blend in places she goes and if she ever did happen to spot me, I’d be just another face in the crowd.
It’s a win, win type of situation. The chosen one is protected and, in turn, I’m being allowed to help serve my Hymn of One. My parents are so proud of my newly appointed position and the recognition they received because of it. The community seems impressed and the Elders are pleased. But, as for me, I’m just grateful. Its like someone hummed me my eternal song before I was asked to share it. And now, all I have to do is sing.
