The Wicker Man Theory

Now I know a lot of you don't want J or DB to die, but a lot of you feel that the journey they are on now is a trap.

Which is why I began to come up with what I like to call 'The Wicker Man' theory

Now in the movie, The Wicker Man (either the original or the one with Nicolas Cage, which you know), a detective is put on a case to find a lost child who has been apparently kidnapped by a neo-pagan cult. Now the detective goes all out to figure out where to find her and figures out that she will be in a ceremony where she will be killed for cult religious beliefs. When he find her and goes to the location, the group seizes the detective and tell him it was all a trap to get him to the island for he is the real chosen one and is killed while the cult chants the song 'Sumer Is Icumen In'.

I tried to make the summary above fit our situation with D&J, so it's not the whole story/movie. I think that what a lot of us already think with the trapping and stuff. Not the death part though

Well that just me going on and on. What do you guys think?

I've always thought that Daniel could be an intended sacrifice or the some kind of leader in the cult.

No sorry I was talking about a girl who posted here, she mentioned something about the wicker man too, but her hypothesis was different from yours. She hasn't posted in a while...

I agree. The Wicker Man theory is...plausible. I agree it very well could be a trap, but I doubt that HoO or the Order are intending to catch DB or Jonas and sacrifice them.

But if you think about it, IF the Order wanted Jonas and Daniel, the best way to get them would be by making them think that they didn't.

However, there have been so many times the Order could have gotten Bree or the boys, that I don't think its likely.

I made a comment like this on another forum post... dont rememebr which

Somewhere else someone said that the Order was female based with males playing a sort of "wickerman-ish" role.

I believe that Bree and Jonas are related and that they were both abuducted at an early age.

This whole plot is really linking alot into the Wickerman deal with the females going out into society and finding a mate then luring them back.

So here is my thought....Bree's mom was given Bree to rasie as her own and train her since birth to be the next "el hefe" of the order.

Jonas was given to someone else, possibly in the order, but when the cooperation of his parents was "ify" they were done away with and jonas left with enough to be taken care of.

So now, Bree's Dad is like WTF to Bree's Mom and the order...and they are like WTF bi-yach....sit down and hold on for a wild ride

And so Mr. Bree is like I got to get my kid and all that jazz and Bree's mom is like hold on partner.....you got your 411 all wrong and then Montel Williams comes in and is like the results are in...

YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER...

and tears and more hear-ach

so now its like crazy emotion trainride and Bree's Dad is like I got to tell her "I will always love her" ***leave it to men to be all emotional**

so yeah no i think Bree's Mom will try to get ahold of Jonas and be like "come to me" and try to take Bree

So yeah i went off on a tangent but you know.
