Kari, when a thread is archived, you said it is split up. Is that easy to do? I'm wondering because if it is, maybe we could ask them to do it in away that allows the earlier posts to be in there, and that would take care of the best of thread with a bonus of being locked so others can't add to it.

Are you saying, Aithne, that we could just include the really funny stuff at the beginning without the editing, and lock it?

You mean to split it so that all the posts that we would put into the best posts thread be split from the archive into their own thread?

That would be a lot of work.

That is what I am attempting to say, and if Kari (or whoever does it), has an easier way of doing it then we do well....

I think what Aithne means is to make a decision as to where to split it --one time deal.
