I'm so confused as to why that matters.longlostposter wrote:Word doesn't use HTML. I seriously doubt that will work.
What I mean is click on "quote" and get the plain text code, the same way you would if you were responding to someone. Otherwise, you're right, it won't work.longlostposter wrote:Word doesn't use HTML. We won't see her again for a while.
I really think it's going to be easier in the long run to copy them one at a time. But I guess we can all use our own methods if we'd prefer.

in Word, it's going to look just like it's typed...it's not going to make a square box. It doesn't take commands like the Internet does.

I'm agreeing with you, Lurker...I'm saying that Word won't do it.Lurker wrote:What I mean is click on "quote" and get the plain text code, the same way you would if you were responding to someone. But I'm really okay with doing it this way. It sounds rough, but if you think in terms of 10 pages at a time, it'll fly by.
This is how I'm going to do it. I think it's more trouble the other way.colbertnationgirl wrote:Smilies must be included.
All you have to do is have two internet browsers up, one of where you are quoting from and one where you want the quote to be. Click 'quote' on the post you want and copy the text into the other browser. I don't see why you'ld have to use Word at all.
As for HTML, I have no idea what that is.
It's fine with me.consideration wrote:I'm about to take my leave. But, on retrospect, I have an final and an AP course exam coming up, so I'm probably not going to have time for 100 pages. Can I take the 50 after Lurker?
Yeah, that'll be real easy.longlostposter wrote:This is how I'm going to do it. I think it's more trouble the other way.
