Shouldn't say that. Don't want to start a discussion about religion. Some people could get offended

I can see some of the similarities to the Silent Hill game (the first one). The movie was significantly different (I still liked it, though).

personally i also think the order is science oriented. they seem to professional and modern to believe in some crazy supernatural theory. thats just the feeling i get. maybe its some sort of a secret that has been guarded by generations because it seems that the order goes way back. kind of like in the davinci code. and maybe bree's ancestors were the founder family or something and thats why the order wants her so bad but is also afraid of hurting her.

While we don't know what the ceremony is, short of Bree being Jesus, it really doesn't matter what they believe. They aren't going to resurrect any god. ....
hmm, i don't know, freakish sounds convincing to me.

I don't know. I think they do believe in some of crowley's ideas using occult ceramonies and the like. They just use high technology as a means to an end. From how gemma described them the watchers are not exactly the "priests" of the belief structure they are more like paladins. Also if she is part of the founding family so is her dad and they did him in.

However I completely agree with you that they are hiding something big.

Some think that Bree is a biologically engineered girl...and the 'ceremony' is really just something dealing with that. Could be. I dunno...

I've always found that theory interesting, Kasdeja, but never really delved into it. It would make sense as to why it HAS to be Bree, and no one else will do. I might research this a little later on tonight.

I wish I could remember it...someone broke it down Biologically Reproduced...something like that...it spelled BREE. I'm sure someone can step in and hopefully fill that in. It made sense, though...as far as her name. It's interesting...I've never fully delved inot it, either. I'll be very interested in anything you dig up, tonight.

On the other side of the argument. If you look at her myspace page her hero is Richard Feynman, one of the scientists who worked on the manhattan project. :smt073
Im not so sure how anti science she really is.

I still feel however that the order is a society based in the occult that use technology to reach thier goals.

can someone clear this up for me? both of bree's parents arent her real parents right? giddeanx that would explain why they killed her dad without much of a thought, cause he wasnt blood related to her.
