I think we might be missing something here, though. Obviously the Order wants Daniel to go away. At the same time, Bree's father has repeatedly told her to stay with Daniel.
Is there something about Daniel that makes him important to keeping Bree from doing the ceremony? Is it as simple as he helps her to think for herself, or is it something more than that?

But let's not forget that Bree's dad did, at one time, ban Daniel from the house. Maybe when he realized that the Order were willing to do anything to get Bree to do the ceremony, and that the ceremony was probably sinister, he knew he wouldn't be able to protect Bree anymore. He then decided to hand the responsibility over to Daniel, knowing he cared for her, and would do whatever was necessary to protect her.

That is true. It's possible they just gave Jonas more of it. Or it is also possible that Daniel has grown somewhat tolerant of the drug since he has been induced by it before (Miss Me?).longlostposter wrote:It seems to me that Jonas was given a different drug than Daniel. I'm not sure if Aunt Alex really meant that they don't remember him. She may have, but I took it she was just bluffing. They might be locked up somewhere and constantly under the influence of whatever drug the Order uses on its prisoners.

I was just thinking.. if Jonas couldn't even get out of the bathtub, how did he get in in the first place? Did the Order carry him in and give him a bath or something?

I think part of it is that she isn't supposed to be in a relationship with a guy. She "broke her purity bond" when she went out with him once. I think the Order is worried she'll fall for him.silvermoon wrote:I think we might be missing something here, though. Obviously the Order wants Daniel to go away. Bree's father banned Daniel from the house specifically after he refused to film the play at Bree's camp, right? That's weird.. I'm trying to think what that would indicate.. but I can't. Except that Bree's dad was a big baby.

I suppose they just dumped him there and left.
