Are you saying that Crowley's sperm has been preserved in some kind of way? And if this is the case, can you freeze some of yours and send it to me in the US, Josh?

Just trying to get the best of Josh, silver.

Oops, pun intended.

EDIT: I'm just crossing my fingers here that I've rendered Josh speechless for once.

silvermoon wrote:Good grief! I'm a Wiccan and use a lot of different names for the God and Goddess, many archaic. I do not " resurrect" anyone, nor have I ever seen any pagan try to do so. We call on deities to watch over us and we pray to them -- same as any mainstream religion-- but I've never seen anyone, of any religion, trying to resurrect a god.

I think you may be watching to much television. No offense, I just mean that you have a somewhat skewed idea of what people are doing in "ceremonies". I've been studying religions of the world for years, and the reality is, no one, short of those who watch too much Charmed and Buffy maybe, is out there trying to raise anybody.
thats bescause wiccan is the stupidest thing ever.

Careful where you're treading there.
If we want this thread to stay friendly there should be no insulting of peoples beliefs. Unless it's the Order, that is. Then you can insult it all you want :D.

Alright, you all. I think you were a little hard on freakish. After all, we are all aware that this ceremony is not an ordinary wedding or baptism or whatever. It is sinister, and we all know it.

Freakish, thanks for the post.

if you turn out right about this i'm going to crucify the creators to resorting to the stupidity trick that the creators and writers of charmed resorted to...

Jeez that was a step back for all wiccan kind!

lol

And yes...this post is fun and funny and funnier now!

I think "invoke" probably was the work freakish was looking for... Or not... Maybe Bree was supposed to resurrect someone. Cassie, maybe?

(BTW, thanks, cosmicdancer, for keeping things in line.)

i dont think cassie was a god.

there are definitley modern relgious cults that perform rituals or ceremonies to attempt the resurrection of their god. i feel like that take some pretty elaborate plans, and the order seems to be pretty elaborate
