Poor Josh. Poor, poor Josh. :smt056

It's all over now. You don't have to think about it anymore.

So start thinking about the ceremony, dammit! :smt077

I do think that there is a specific date for the ceremony, not sure if it's 12/10 or whatever, but.....

I figure the watchers are keeping tabs on Bree till just before the ceremony. Then someone is going to nab her and it's going to be all, "Do the ceremony or you never see your parents again."

That's my theory anyway. So it really doesn't matter if she goes to Jonas' or not, someone's going to come get her and force her into this stupid ceremony whenever it's supposed to be. Which I hope is freaking soon.

Perhaps the whole Jonas set up is to lure her to the location where the real ceremony is to take place. This way she will have gone there of her own free will, which seems to be an important conceptual thread in the storyline.

Yeah, whatever happened to her "religion" and Aleister Crowley and all that? Did they have to abandon all that as a cop-out to Thelema? That is such a cop-out in my opinion.

Lots of shows and movies use other religions as plot devices. Abandoning everything they were leading up to just because a couple of people got offended is lame. Movies like "the last temptation of christ" and "dogma" offended some religious people, but their producers and directors didn't have to backtrack and change the whole premise. The producers could have made Bree's "Order" a rogue branch of Thelema or something--there are rogue branches of religions that have deviated a lot from the original--instead of making up a whole "Order" that we can't reseach because it doesn't exist.

Like Mormons--the official Church of Latter-day Saints--they're pretty normal. But then there's "Orthodox Church of Latterday Saints"--the one where they practice polygamy and have child brides and massive inbreeding and suck the state's welfare dry because each subsequent bride is technically listed under "single mother" with no income.

Trainer....thinking more on this....that would tie into the whole, "he's not really a rich orphan kid, and that's not really his house, but the Order's headquarters" thing, too.

Ever see Eyes Wide Shut? this is starting to remind me of that. :lol :lol

After Gemma said it wasn't really a religion at all, it seemed sort of a waste to keep researching Thelema. They've basically admitted they made the whole "Religion/Order" up.

I think the 12-10-06/10-12-06 date was a ruse anyway. Something DID happen on 10-12: the fake ceremony. Bree doesn't know when the real ceremony was meant to be, so she oculdn't drop us hints about that.

It's possible it might be another date- like New Years or 12-21-06 (winter Solstice/longest night of the year/my wedding anniversary). Any other upcoming dates look like possibilities?

12-10-06 seems like the most reasonable. And its coming up..its also on a Sunday. I don't believe this date was chosen for any reason...but if they make it to Jonas' house within the next week..its possible there could definately be a change of events that could lead up to the ceremony. But without Bree's parents around---no one can tell her what to do and to prepare for the ceremony. If they go back home, maybe Bree will find her parents there...
