Test Jonas: ask to him to do something against Order rules

Post by annie »

Daniel, you guys are in a rough spot, but I hope you give yourself and Bree credit for how well you have done in some ways. I mean, think back two montsh ago when you could only get to see her by perring through trees to that supposed ceremony, and she was all "best friends" with Lucy. Your smarts and good spirit helped her snap out of it!

So, anyway... it's time for Bree to level with you about the Order... at least a few things about it. Very religion has some bans and taboos that the members would be absolutely aghast to do.
Something equivalent to a devout Muslim eating pork or a devout Christian reading a Satanic Mass (lame examples, sorry).

It wouldn't be a foolproof test of Jonas, but at least you could watch his reaction when you asked him to do the test, and gauge whether there was some tension there.

But Bree is going to have to coopertae ~ at least enough to give a few gems of info about her religion!

Thank you, subucni!

I hope DanielBeast reads this and at least considers maybe trying it.

I'm afraid Bree might be in on what's going on, so she could feed DanielBeast false information. Or warn Jonas. (see the thread I started in this forum for why I think this is a possibility, even if it's not likely)

Even so, if they're that into the Order, they still can't do it. Like (JUST AN EXAMPLE!) if a Jew was being tested on whether or not they were a devout Jew, would they still eat some pork to throw you off track?

Somethings u just don't do no matter what.

I say this religious-taboo testing is a spectacular idea.

Right. But Daniel wouldn't know what to ask Jonas to do without asking Bree. Bree could lie and say that eating pork is against their beliefs, even though it is not. So it wouldn't be religious taboo.

Not saying it's not an excellent idea. Just that I have sudden distrust of Bree. (I'm not sure I could explain where, exactly, the feeling came from. It just hit me all of a sudden, and thinking about the videos again with this distrust explains a lot of things)

i think it would be better is bree was as ignorant of the truths of the Order as we all are; her turning around and going "buwa hahaha! i am Oppy!" would elicit a pained groan from the collective populous of the Breeniverse.

I agree. But I still don't completely trust her. She's lied to Daniel in the past, after all...

Eh, that's when she was still naieve, thinking the Order new best, and she had no reason to think otherwise. But now she's seen what they are capable of, not having her best intrest in mind, so now she'd follow Gemma's only good advice to only trust Daniel.

Daniel, Make Jonas show you his parents' room. If his intentions are good then he has nothing to hide.
