I had just about stopped partying by then, except for a few occasions I still drink, just in moderation now. At 36, I've discovered that it's much more fun to mess with the drunks at parties

Oh, how I loves me some NOS when I go to the dentist... I still feel the pain, but I no longer care

'mute is short for my handle, Wintermute. Wintermute is a swiss AI in the cyberpunk novel Neuromancer. He was also a severely retarded knight from the crusades who was an idiot-savant. He could instantly tell his latitude by glancing at the stars. He has a slight problem with longitude though, and led his men east, missing the battle completely and causing their eventual death of starvation. Combine this information with the anagram of my real name and "Proving Longitude Wrong," then do with it what you will

Luv2Skydive wrote:Duh, what? j/k.....interesting tidbit of info, thanks!
Maybe I should make a FAQ about myself and include it in my sig, 'cause you're not the first to ask (and I never know exactly how much information to give)

It's not as if I revealed a ton of personal information... Just where I got the handle, and where William Gibson may have gotten it But when asked, I'll give up most information about myself...
