I don't either; Jonas is not to be trusted. Maybe the story will end with Bree fleeing to Jonas' house and becoming a surprise character on this new show, lol.

I don't know what role Jonas is playing with us. Is he a good guy, or a bad guy? Time will tell.

I haven't judge either him or Gemma as of yet. I am trusting that the creators will show us a good time nevertheless.

Well no it doesn't mean he was fired, as this was clearly finished up by September, which is before he got involved with LG.
However the shirtless thing... it makes me think that his Hollywood MO is just the "hot friend". Lots of people were sensing that's the exact reason he was hired to LG15, and this acts as evidence backing that up.
