Moderators Abuses

Several claims of OA moderators abusing their powers have been brought to my attention. The claims mostly involve the modification or deletion of threads that contain information that some people, including some mods, believe to be attempts at game jacking.

I, myself, have altered and deleted some posts that promoted ideas that were confirmed by OA and Tachyon as invalid and therefor distractions to the game. Other mods, however have taken the initiative of doing likewise with some information that was legitimate.

Such modifications can be confusing to new and old players alike, especially if its done as a means of playing the game (mods who as players tend to support Tachyon over OpAphid and vice a versa). To help curb this, I request all mods check with me first before the major alteration of threads that they suspect may contain misleading information. Also, I request that all OA mods take a more neutral stance when using their moderator abilities. Play the game however you wish, but do not use any administrative tools to do so.
