Star Charts and Sundials
Okay, bare with me, but keep your clothes on...
You see it in the other vids as well, but through out the motel vids like everyone else I've noticed soooo many cam shots of the sun or referances to light. Whether it's cam shots of the sun in the sky or it's reflection off the pool, in written words, and even in the backround music. So, with the sun in mind...
In the "Fleeing the Watcher' vid we get a shot of 2 cones in the parking lot. I was thinking they reminded me of Egyptian obelisks which symbolized the Sun God Ra. But, that's just a footnote. More importantly they're casting shadows like a sundial. Sun, Stars, location, direction and keeping time being so important, I wonder if the cones casting shadows are just another way to represent time and/or light in the vids or if it could be a clue pointing to something more?
I feel like I'm reaching here, but they also kinda.. and I just mean kinda.. resemble the geometric shapes on Daniels shirt (2 squares or diamonds with points in the middle). But, why two and not one?
Any thoughts?

you know tat kind of ties into what Dr Immant is saying.
Check out on wikipedia Ptolemy and Ptolemy's Tetrabiblios.
It teaches about the connection between peoples/places/things purposes and destinies and horoscoptic (Zodiac) astrology.
I posted a thread about it in the spin off forums as well concerning my theories. Check it out.

No thoughts, but I'm taking notes. It sounds interesting. That's exactly the diffuse feeling I had while watching the vids: TIME. I think you have a good point.

In LGpedia there's reference to use of a star filter in a shot of the sun in the vid "Motel Pool". The poster believes it may be a reference to the unicursal hexagram, often affiliated with Thelema.Way2Curious wrote:Until you mentioned it I had always thought that the light and sun shots (etc.) were just to be artisticBut I'm taking note of what you said, I suppose there could be clues in the imagery.....

It may also be a dramatic interpretation of the "All Seeing Eye" as referenced here:

Re: Star Charts and Sundials
I don't mean to burst your bubble that is a very interesting and observant thought, but, it could also be that the creators told the motel they didn't want anyone to park there for fear of getting in the shot and becoming part of the story, those two parking cones line directly up with, where the watcher is standing... Then agian what do I knowPi wrote: In the "Fleeing the Watcher' vid we get a shot of 2 cones in the parking lot. I was thinking they reminded me of Egyptian obelisks which symbolized the Sun God Ra. Good theory though it could still be true
Thanks! I've been avoiding the spin-offs because I only have so much time in the day. It was a little hard to hear what Immant was saying, but reading a little up on Ptolemy, Immant's vids definately resonate with me. (laughs) I've been meaning to visit Griffith Observatory since it just reopened. I'm tempted to do a vid retracing Immant's steps. I'll call it, "A Watcher's Shadow." No? lol okay, nm.Killthesmiley wrote:you know tat kind of ties into what Dr Immant is saying.

Oh, and I'd like to read your theories. Do you think you can help me out and provide direct links? I tried the searching, but I'm sure you know how that can go...

No bubble bursting. I'm just speculating aloud. I'm pratical and obvious by default, so in that way we're coming from the same place. But, I figure this is a little bit of a game as well a mini series. They have just a few minutes to give you crumbs of info without being to-to obvious. So, everything can potentially have double meaning. Without actually committing to my own speculations, it could be that the cones convienently served both purposes (grins).thinkitthrough wrote:I don't mean to burst your bubble that is a very interesting and observant thought, but, it could also be that the creators told the motel they didn't want anyone to park there for fear of getting in the shot and becoming part of the story, those two parking cones line directly up with, where the watcher is standing... I had a hard time sleeping at night because I just understood I might be on something. It has to do with some old post of mine - I decided to just quote the whole thing.
I know that no one's been paying attention to these comments, but could they mean anything? I mean, someone actually using Hebrew and-
"zaharin-el".... sounds to me like "a God that shines".
possibly - The God of Sun?
if I'm not mistaken, that's an old Egyptian God!!
Didn't do the rest of my research 'cause I'm hysterical.
If anyone reads it and thinks this might have a point, I'll call up my boyfriend's dad and ask him to translate the Arabic parts.

What the hell is up with this comment (comment #81):
"Deacons Says:

[Arabic] we understand your message. Your acknowledgment of what we have come to believe to be true has been received.
The Manteuomai has a message he says [Hebrew] is with you and “Galatians is the key.”
Your birth parents have said they know of a way to communicate with you through language they said they have taught you. You will receive the message from them in a way only you will understand it will be broadcasted for you on the ‘morrow.
We know that the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel is attempting to ‘free’ you. If you need money, supplies, or protection proceed to location 33n57, 117w24.
The Grottoes will help you.
[Arabic] remember Galatians is the key."
Apparently the coordinates are a housing complex in Riverside?
EDIT - Wrong town/city name...
my first time.
It's one word that says "Zaharinel" or "Zaharinal", and is written in a really weird way 'cause there's a letter in the middle that you only use at the end of words, which makes it "Zaharin-El". "El" in hebrew is a God (not any specific God, just that word - "a God"), and as for "Zaharin"... it's a word I've never heard, and sounds like "shining".
turns out it's a very ancient Hebrew word (long before Hebrew *was* Hebrew).
When I googled it, I found some references to the "Zohar" book, which is a Jewish book that is told to have many wise secrets that only the smartest, oldest people know of.
Wiki found nothing of it, and I couldn't read any of the documents Goggled brought. ancient Hebrew.
Don't think anyone I know can read it either.
That's really interesting - is there any chance that this post means anything?
