[ANALYSIS][SPEC] Bree's Videos

[In the interest of stream-lining the forums, I changed the name of this thread. Let's use it to discuss all clues/analysis of the Bree videos as it pertains to the game. - Das Panda]

So in Bree's last video was suspiciously like a Tachyon video, so I was thinking that since the story lines are probably getting ready to converge, there might be clues in her last video:

She went to three movies: The Guardian, The Gridiron Gang, and (probably) Flags of Our Fathers.

Then later she tells us that P-Monkey never wears fur, for no apparent reason that I picked up, after which we see a shot of a movie poster for the new movie Fur, starring Nicole Kidmon, about Diane Arbus.

I can't really say the significance of all this, but it seamed important, so I threw it out there.

Someone pointed out earlier that in 'The Guardian', there's a massive flood, and one coast guard is busy working to save people, and is the only one who survives. Maybe it's important because Bree's now(Probably) and orphan.

I posted this in a different thread, but might as well bring it up here. Tachyon's profile talks about "finding her", and then we get a vid that shows more of where Bree is than Bree herself. I don't know if a drop will be there, but definitely gives us an idea of where Tachyon might be heading. That is, if anyone knows where that theater is. As for the movie titles, I don't see them having any meaning, just shows that it was recorded recently and Bree has awful taste in movies.

As a side note, and I've been saying this a lot, don't jump to conclusions. Keep them in mind, but don't go balls out with them. I made that mistake once, lead the entire chat/forums on a wild goose chase, and ended up getting an angry msg from OpAphid about making her listen to Jack Johnson

Oh yes it was

Its also the reason I went and got that drop in Santa Nella. I felt bad about everyone working on all that for nothing.

But a REALLY good example of how overthinking something leads to disaster.

As Tiger mentioned before (in another thread, I think?) the movies Bree saw are old. She's probably at one of those cheapo dollar movie theaters. I did a quick search at the ones I could find online had nothing valuable.

Also, there's an ad in the video with a phone number ... if we could find out what that number is it would be able to narrow down her location quite a bit. No luck yet, tho.

Right after she talks about "fake butter" she goes walking through the building and there is a sign. There is a phone number at the bottom of the sign, but I can get a good enough shot of it. Any chance somone can make out the area code?

Okay my darlings ....

The rumor is that the NEWEST video of Bree's and DB's little feast in the park was in SANTA MONICA.

(Can the person who found this please post something to this affect? I am as far away from Cali as is possible in the US, so I'm not the expert of California parks.)

So, I still say we try to find the mall/movie theater ... but let's narrow our search to the Santa Monica area.
