Digressing from the vampire/LG15/Jonas/LG storyline (which I would like to see).
I am still confused by the possible addition of Jonas to the storyline.
I am still not sure how people would want additional characters to be brought into the story. I think a slow introduction of a character makes sense. And slipping him on the YouTube as opposed to constant responses on the LG15 main page seems to make sense. I think people would be more up in arms if suddenly Daniel jumped on the horn and called up someone he knew, and this someone ended up at the hotel door to save them. Or if there was a video suddenly of someone who came on the scene like Gemma did ("Hi, I'm Gemma. I know Bree, and you'll be seeing me for awhile.) As someone who studies and teaches stories all day long, I have had to view these videoblogs as an alternative and different form of storytelling. I look for less literary devices and elements of fiction and expect more visual teleplay/movie script kind of elements (and of the latter, I'm no expert, just a viewer).
I am really curious about how people would like an additional character (like say for instance, uh, I dunno...Jonas, perhaps) to be brought into the story.
I only ask so I get a better understanding. I'm not asking sarcastically, bitterly, confrontationally or anything. (After all, I didn't write the story.) Just in a plot structure kind of way.
I think folks' responses could be very interesting to me. (Please indulge me.)
