Try snapping elastic bands on your wrists.

I used to have to do that...it only works if the rubber band snapping hurts...

Jim got me a IPod video beofre we went to cuba for our wedding.
When we came back I was sitting outside on a really nice day, he walked up to me to ask questions about the IPod.
THe next day i had to go to an interview with an Editor about one of my articles. I come home and it's gone, un hooked from the charger.

The only reason we know it was him was because all the windows were closed and locked and the front door was locked. We've cught him coming out of our apartment a couple times (seeing he had a master key). And the only way someone could have come in and steal it, was if they had a key. suspicious huh...

oh it doesn't end...

Two weeks later, he has a yard sale...whats there for sale..and IPod video that the battery is dead, and he can't charge it becasue he cant find the charger...HA! THEY DON'T HAVE CHARGERS...THEY ARE CHARGED OFF THE USB CABLE BITCHES!

either way, he wouldn't give it back to us, and when i tried to take it back i got a sever punch in the ace from his wife...bitch.
when we called the police about it, they said we couldn't do anything because we signed a lease stating that it was alright to go into our apartment with the masterkey if he had a valid reason. And he would easily come up with one...

SOOOO...
A couple of weeks after that we caught him walking out of our neighboors place with their DVD player, PS2, a bag of DVDs and 3000 worth of jewlery.
His excuse:
"They're being evicted"

they still live there...
we informed the manager of the property...they did nothing

I ain't getting it back either...
he got fired a month ago because the head of the company came her to inspect the place and saw him walking out of some chicks apartment with a sobeys bag apparently full of DVDs

Well...you are not in the States right? SOooo I am not sure how things work up there..BUT.. SUE the Apartment Company. Subpeona his termination records...I'll stop there cause I am not sure of the laws there..not that I am sure of them here..but..I at least have a CLUE.

Even if it's legal for him to come in and out of your apartments, its NOT legal for him to steal!

Should've called police about the ipod (and the PS2, and the DVDs, and the rest of your neighbors' stuff) because an iPod at least is easy to prove. When you buy it, your iPod has a unique serial number that is permanantly on it, and it is also on the box I do believe. Also, if you plug it in to a wall charger, it will come back to life and show all the music that you had put on it, which will match your itunes file for file. Sucks about the landlord though.
