Oh, Spacie, I'd definately be interested in that mac and cheese recipe. I've become a bit of a "recipe whore" in the past couple of months. I collect them like crazy and then never use them. But I dig mac and cheese and would definately use that!
1 tbs. salt
2 cups elbow macaroni
1/4 cup plus 2tbs. softened butter
2 large eggs
2 cups evaporated milk
1tsp. salt
2 dashes tobasco sauce (or more..to taste)
1lb. extra-shapr cheddar cheese, grated and mixed with 1/2 cup grated American cheese
1/2 tsp. sweet paprika
preheat oven 350
add the tbs. of salt to 6 cups of water. Bring to a boil, throw in the elbows and continue to boil for 12 minutes, stirring constantly. Drain and rinse with cold water. Toss the macaroni w/ the butter and set aside.
Beat the two eggs until light yellow. Add milk, salt and tobasco. In a large, buttered casserole dish, alternate layers of macaroni with layers of cheese, ending with cheese on top. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the whole damn thing. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the custard is set and the top is bubbly and golden brown.
Mmm, Spacie, that recipe is making me hungry! I can't wait to try it! (I named it Spacie Mac and Cheese so now you're going down in Mirage computer history...congrats! )
Holly, I'm a small down girl..I've never actually HAD fennel.
Actually, I found that by Googling "andrea paul". But when you said "small down girl", it made me think of this couple about to enter the bonds of holy Downs Syndrome matrimony.

So this is a picture that you've seen before, then, and it's been burned into your memory ever since?
