Bree: It's something that I believe in and why is it such a big deal to you?
Daniel: Whatever.
Bree: It's my religion...
Daniel: Ok...
Bree: ...it's my beliefs, there’s a million fucking different religions in the world.

And he flipped out. He said that my religion was getting in the way of our whatever it is, and he told me that I had to choose between him or my religion.
Erm, OK. So based on Bree calling it a religion and Gemma saying 'it's more like a secret society, it's not a religion at all' what are we supposed to believe?
I have my theories, but what do you people think?
So it's not a religion....?

Perhaps Bree was told it was a religion; in other words lied to.PushedButton wrote:21 I Probably Shouldn't Post This...

Not to be nasty or anything, but a lot of people keeping looking for contradictions where there are none. It's kinda funny.

Oo. If you don't trust her, TW, then I'm going to have to start looking at her vids more critically.twjaniak wrote:I've always felt that Gemma has never really had Bree's best interests at heart. I'm not certain we can trust anything she has to say.
Unless maybe we shouldn't trust you . . . ?
Damn. Now I'm getting paranoid about everybody.
I'm glad you said this, lass. I've been thinking for a while now that the mods know more than they are telling us (could they be the creators themselves?) and that they could be throwing people of the trail when they get close to a discovery.Languorous Lass wrote:Oo. Maybe not throwing off the tail, per se... but they do seem pretty omnipotent at times, don't they?
My two cents: Bree grows up in a yes, religious commune, worshiping something, maybe like Thelema, and all she knows are the "eldars" (now she says deacons) and her parent's religion that she takes very seriously and yet her parents aren't part of the 'Order of Denderah" and "won't even be allowed to come." Of course the deacons are more powerful than she realizes, and when they choose her (why?) for the ceremony they've got something bad in mind that even her parents are taken surprise by, that the deacons really are a secret society. That's if we trust Gemma. If we don't, completely different story.

We all have a Danielbeast inside of us.
