He was stung about the creators telling him to find other employment for money, and in the resulting Sad, made a blog post for friends that was his own interpretation of the event through a Young And Dramatic filter.

It's nothing against Yousef, either. It's just the nature of blogland.
Would he not have then just said "Crap, lg15 ran out of money and I have to find a new sorce of income!" instead of making it sound like he was fired for not being a good actor?

I mean, the kid wants to be an actor. I don't think he would purposely say it was because he was not a good enough actor is that hadn't actually been said to him at some point.

But, hey, at this point it's ALL speculation. I don't think we'll ever have then entire true story of what happened.

Or, hypothetically speaking, they said, "Hey, Yousef -- you might want to start looking for other employment." with no other explanation, and in a slight bit of sadness about everything and no other information, he made a blog post that speculated about why he was having to go back to the restaurant business (something which, I assume from the tone of his post, he really didn't want to do).

Some people, when faced with something that seems distasteful or bad looming on the horizon, will turn that confusion and sadness outward and get angry at the one causing you harm. Others will turn that inward and speculate and pick themselves apart.

Chances are, Yousef was sad and in the dark, and speculated that he was being fired or written out, instead of the reality, which is that there's no more cash with which to pay him. He posted before he clarified, thinking that his myspace was semi-private to just people he'd approved.

Instead, it was posted here, and people have gone certifiable in their righteous anger and indignation.

Seems to me that before calling for blood, waiting for another post at least might be preferable to inciting a riot, that's all.

How many times has it been said about him on the forums, YouTube, and the comments?

It's not that surprising that his mind would "go there" when he's told to look for other work for money.

he has some fans as firends, and I'm pretty sure he knows that they're fans..and like silvermoon said, I don't think he'd want to let everyone see that his employers may think he sucks at acting unless it's true that they said that to him. And why wouldn't they tell him why he needed to find another job? Seems weird to me. I don't buy it.

Don't you think he'd say "Uh, why?"

Conspiracy theories are fine for in-plot analysis and people with tinfoil hats, but the reality is that most of the time, there's a perfectly logical reason for most things.

The boy went off half-cocked and didn't think before he posted. That's between him and the creators, and I'm sure one of the two will clarify at some point.

Posting on myspace blogs, by the way, much of the time, is a cry for support. He got that, but he got much, much more, and I think he'll probably think twice before posting anything at all again, which is kind of sad.

So conspiracy theorize away, but I think a lot of this is just mob mentality combined with lack of information.

Seems to me that Yousef can speak for himself. You sure are guilty of speculating just as much as others have done today (me included). Even speculating that Yousef was "sad and in the dark"? wow.

Why would they tell him to look for another job?

Because they can't pay him, and rather than let him starve waiting for a LG15 paycheck, they advised him to look for other work.

And if he wasn't around them in person, it very well could have been said in email, at which point he didn't wait for clarification before making the conclusion that it must be because he sucks.

Well....you just keep rationalizing away while we "conspiracy theorize". I just don't find your logic to be very realistic. Sorry. I still don't buy it.

Why do you have such an omnipotent attitude about this whole thing? Unless you're a plant you know no more than us, which frankly isn't much, so why act like you have all the answers.

No, you're right. It IS speculation on my part.

However, my speculation is based on human nature, not on half-cocked ideas that the creators just up and told him, "Hey, Yousef -- you suck. Find another job," which, from all other mentions of them, seems far, far out of character for them.

Yousef has made other blog posts where he's demonstrated that he's emotionally driven. If he was stirred up by the suggestion to find other employment, it stands to reason that my theory is probably closer to the truth than the THIS IS A CONSPIRACY theories.

I'm not commenting on why they would tell him to look for another job. I'm commenting that they would not just say "Yousef, find another job" and run away while turning off their cell phones. Even in an email, these are professional people we are talking about. They just wouldn't slap "find another job" down and sign off. I'm sure Yousef has a contract. They would need to give him some reasons behind why he needs to find another job.

And you make is sound like he's a 12 year old boy! I'm sure when he heard "find another job" his first reaction was to find out why, not run to his "friends" on myspace and piss and moan.

Your speculation is just as half-cocked as the rest of ours. Why would your opinions be more correct than anyone else's?

It also seems out of character for them to tell him to get another job with no explination. Our take on the situation is based on human nature too.

The LGPEDIA says that nothing has been confirmed as of yet. that is not an assurance. I would hate for him to leave. I heart danielbeast.

No one says there are any conspiracy theories going on. Yousef said he was fired, put any spin on that you wish.

After much backlash, we're told that isn't true.

You are very omnipotent for a first time poster and you speak as if it's FACT, not just your opinions.
