The only way I won't have a hissy fit about Daniel not being in the show anymore is that if he's killed by OpAphid and then the stories intertwine even more.
I will have the hugest hissy fit known to mankind if they replace Yousef. THAT'S SUICIDE CREATORS, DON'T DO IT!
I don't want to be stuck with Gemma, ugh.
Think about how fucked up Bree is going to be if Daniel is killed (hopefully protecting her). Parents missing, scary cult after her, best and only friend DEAD because of her, no one she can trust, possibly captured by the Deacons... all at age 16 (or 17 now?).
Having said all that, if Daniel is killed and Bree is captured (HELLO ARG!!) I'm still excited to see whats gonna happen. At first I was pissed and thinking about boycotting, but that's a bit rash.
Whatever happens, I hope the series only gets better and that Yousef finds more and better work.

"Have you ever transcended space and time?"
"Yes. No. Uh, time not space. No. I don't know what you're talking about."

If you're so tired of it, why don't YOU leave? The forum is for people to express their feelings about the "show" and discuss it. Unless you are one of the creators and have a problem with our complaining back off.raindown wrote:blade8r wrote:Our wrath will be seen.NikkiBowerReport wrote: I've been sworn to secrecy and I respect my sources. and you the creators should be prepared
Oh, whatever!
You know, guys, you can threaten to 'leave' and to 'stop watching', but don't forget that The Creators are, well, the creators!
They decide where they wanna take the plot, and who they wanna take it to, and hey, it's been working just great until now, so there's no point in trying to make them change their mind all the time.
They surely know just what they're doing and why. I'm tired of constantly hearing complaints and of everyone constantly begging to the creators! accept it or leave it, geesh.
P.S
Dear Creators,
If you do get Bree a new boy-friend,
please get one who doesn't always sound like he has a cold, and, if possible, doesn't have such a big nose.
thanks.
And the comment about "such a big nose" was infantile and rude.
Uh, why are people trying to tie this in with OpAphid??? OpAphid is a spin off and not actually connected with this...don't be silly.
Daniel gon makes me sad...but I'm interested to see how they will nix his character, since he's been so important and with the latest video is even more important for Bree.

So long as we don't see her swimming with someone saying "You remember that boy Daniel?"Kasdeja wrote:Daniel gon makes me sad...but I'm interested to see how they will nix his character, since he's been so important and with the latest video is even more important for Bree.

OMG, that would be scary! What a great twist that would be! You should be writing this stuff.wintermute wrote:So long as we don't see her swimming with someone saying "You remember that boy Daniel?"Kasdeja wrote:Daniel gon makes me sad...but I'm interested to see how they will nix his character, since he's been so important and with the latest video is even more important for Bree.

I'm just bummed (well ok I'm bummed about no Daniel anymore too!
) that something like this, if true, and no matter how the creators go about it (kidnapping/death/dissapearance), is HUGE for the storyline. And here we are, already knowing about it. Isn't anyone else kinda ticked that they got spoilered in this way?

I think that would be the only acceptable way for them to get ride of Daniel. Otherwise this series will have officially turned into a joke and wouldn't be worth watching. I really hope they don't try a Darrin switch that would be retarded.wintermute wrote: So long as we don't see her swimming with someone saying "You remember that boy Daniel?"

on a side note it sucks that the writing for Gemma character is so bad because her character could be pretty interesting, its just the creators messed up and tried to make her character cute like Bree instead of her own individual character w/ her own quirks

personally, if daniel/yousef has to go, i hope he goes in style -- killed as he fights off the Order of Splenda (the new sponsor of LG15) at the motel, allowing Bree to jump out the bathroom window and begin Season 2 of LG15.

'Alan Smithee' is a common pseudonym for directors whose film was clearly taken away from her/him and recut heavily against her/his wishes in ways that completely altered the film.
The Directors Guild contract generally does not permit a director to remove her/his name from films. The Directors Guild has been striving for decades to establish the director as the "author" of a film, and part of getting the credit for the successes is taking the blame for the failures. The only exceptions they make are cases in which a film was clearly taken away from a director and recut heavily against her/his wishes in ways that completely altered the film. Directors are required to appeal to the Guild in such cases. If the appeal is successful, their name is replaced by Alan Smithee. That is the only permissible pseudonym for a director. So if you notice a film directed by Alan Smithee, it is certain it is not what its director intended, and likely that it is not any good.

Nor I. I kept watching Buffy long after it became histrionic crap, simply because it once was so good and I couldn't believe such clever writers would take the audience down such a badly scripted and trite road without a worthwhile pay-off.Inigo wrote:This cannot be true. The creators must now it would be like commiting suicide, because many people would stop watching (I wouldnt)
So it can be said that I was wrong before and hope not to be wrong again.
