Lots of restaurants have WiFi (ex: IHOP). It is easy to imagine that one of them has a lappy with them, and that it might have a wireless card.
I think that the biggest inconsistancy is that Bree and Daniel are posting visual evidence of their whereabouts... I mean if you were really on the run you would be alot more careful about what you let the people who are chasing you see in the video, if you even posted one at all.

I'm almost positive that they are using a laptop that belongs to Daniel. Bree has a pc, you can see it in the "What did Daniel and Dad talk about?" video. At the end of the "On the Run" video he said they were getting a room, even some crappy motels have internet access. They were bored so when they got settled in to the room, I'm sure they started playing around on the computer, editing, posting, etc.
As for the issue of where Daniel lives or if he works, well....Maybe he does live with his parents, but he may have told them he was going on a road trip or staying with friends (like he did before). He's 18, so I'm sure his parents give him a lot of freedom, and as long as he tells them where he's going or checks in with them regularly they are probably not too worried. Because most likely he hasn't involved them in any of this, as to not make them worry or anything.
He graduated high school, so maybe he's in college, but then he couldn't just take off like that. If he works, he's either requested this time off or has quit because he doesn't know when he'll return. Maybe he's taking a year off after high school before going to college, a lot of people do that. And it's a good possibility that his parents support him financially since he hasn't been out of high school long.

Maybe I'm losing my mind, but I could have sworn that one of the videos a while back showed Daniel sitting on a bed, a laptop in front of him (screen away from camera), and Bree was between Daniel and the camera, and there was a very obvious cord running from the cam to the laptop...
Like I said, maybe I'm imagining things... can't find that one now... but I can't imagine where else I would have seen something like that, either.

I bet they BROUGHT Daniel or Bree's laptop with them -- for internet and e-mail and video and entertainment, etc., they wouldn't buy us a laptop and they couldn't find a laptop with editing software either. But we already know this isn't real, so this kind of thing doesn't really matter (to me, anyway).
We all have a Danielbeast inside of us.
Doesn't windows movie maker come preinstalled with windows?? Its a fairly basic video editing program. They could've just edited it using that.
And Daniel probably just has a laptop. I guess it wouldn't be very hard to find a LAN cafe or library computer or something else either.

I have a question........are we supposed to be viewing the vlogs as fiction or nonfiction? I mean, if we are supposed to be viewing them as "real" then honestly the editing and songs just wouldn't be there! I just don't buy Daniel freaking out (he does it so well!), Bree crying, and at the same time searching through songs to create good AM-B-ANTS for their vlog as they're running for their lives!
LG15 needs more COWBELL!

Umm, at the end of the video, Daniel says they are getting a hotel room.Lost wrote:It doesn't look like they can afford a hotel (bathing in public restrooms)Broken Kid wrote:the hotel where they ended up.did they ever show one?Broken Kid wrote:I'm sure they have a laptop
if not then the creators f***ed up. It happens, their only human.

It's clear that Daniel loves Bree; so I think he might give up those things for her, at least temporarily. Also, if he is in fear for his own life ("The order" probably figures Bree is with him), then this would make sense. "The Order" has been following him and know where he works, goes to school, or whatever. Bree already said they didn't feel safe at Daniel's house, and that is why they are running.trainer101 wrote:Clearly they have a whole lotta time on their hands.twjaniak wrote:I could totally make a video on the run. do they have a wireless laptop?
Here's a few questions - Does Daniel work? Go to school? Both? Neither? And what about his parients? Won't all those people start wondering where the heck he is? You can't keep calling in sick to work or not show up for school indefinitely.
Not if they suspect there are police officers in "The Order" or that it would increase their chances of being killed (i.e. mob).Lost wrote:in truth, they would call the police.fuzzy_bunny85 wrote:Lots of restaurants have WiFi (ex: IHOP). Also, "The Order" has Bree's parents. This is another impetus for not calling the cops.
