The Children of Anchor Cove

I haven't seen this asked anywhere, but maybe I'm just blind...

Does anyone know why the original series was gonna be called The Children of Anchor Cove?

Me too
I was thinking it could be the name of the community Gemma was talking about? Or something like that
Or maybe when the story of LG15 is over, we'll be introduced to new characters in this "community", we'll follow their story, and then when theirs is over, it's just a never ending story...
Haha yeah that won't happen, it'd be sorta neat though. :P

especilly since we now have 2 speaking characters from the same bkgrd.
-Ii'd love to see other character's stories as well, we'll just have to see how far they take it. But sometimes telling too much just ruins the story, especially if it wasn't originallyplanned to have sequels/spinoffs.

My guess is, It was never supposed to be called the "Children of Anchor Cove". That was just the working title for the auditions so people who didnt get the part couldnt identify Bree's blog with the project they auditioned for. I think they meant to change the title from the start.

It's a common thing during the production of a movie. For example, Return of the Jedi was named "Blue Harvest: Horror beyond imagination" to avoid the fans flooding the locations and sets

Children of Anchor Cove is a nice title though. I personally like it better than Lonelygirl15

i think it's a cool title, but i like the lonelygirl15 title a little better. it adds to the "v-blog" effect this whole thing has. it reminds me of the movie title swimfan. but, i do kinda wonder what the working title means. maybe it's just the fictional name of the place that they live?
This world will never be what I expected.
And if I don't belong, who would have guessed it?

I'm pretty sure the Creators said that, in one of those MTV videos or something, that Children of Anchor Cove was never intended to be the title.

Very smart. By the way, "The Breakfast Club" rocks.
