BABIES

Post by CriticalThinking »

Yup, this year I got stuck with child development as one of my electives... and in about a week we get to take home the electronic babies!!

We drew little pink and blue slips of paper to see if we would get a boy or girl, and I got a girl, and her name is going to be *drumroll please*CASSIE!! I thought about the name Bree but my name is Briana and my nickname is Bree.. so that would have been wierd. Kind of random, but I thought I'd share!

Oh my gosh those things are so aweful and horrible and et cetera. All my friends had to have those, I chose not to take that elective on purpose.

A friend of mine had to take care of one of those babies for a day. Yeah, someone in band threw it against the way and cracked it's head...

Don't let that happen.

WHOA!!! BABIES!!!!

The other day, I was out roller skating in my shorts and Booty Camp T-shirt, and I was telling the cops about this awful thing that happened with a baby!!!

There was a guy with a FLAMETHROWER at the Meat and Produce store, it was a FLAMETHROWER!!! It was HORRIFYING, and he was walking around, and he grabbed this woman's BABY!!! And he held it up to the flamethrower, and he was like "I'M GONNA BURN THIS BABY EVERYBODY!!!" Everybody was like "DON'T!!!" I started CRYING, it was just so scary!!!

My friend took a video of me telling the cops:

omg i remember i had one of those electronic babies junior year. (geez that feels like forever ago!) boohoo im getting old.....

and of course, my luck, mine had a defect or something..

it cried literally ALL NITE LONG... even after I stuck the stupid lil key in it to stop....

I finally just put a pillow over it and went to sleep... ( i know i know what a horrible mother!)

I was expecting to get a horrible grade when my teacher checked the box to see how well i did...

but she noticed that the baby was a psycho defective crying machine..lol

and i got an A for putting up with the lil monster...

So good luck! Hope that doesnt happen to you. I actually really enjoyed the rest of the class...I love children and wanted to do the whole teaching thing... never did though :(

Okay enough babbling... lol...

You're getting old?!?! Back in the day, we had to carry around an egg and pretend it was a baby. I have absolutely no idea why we had to do that for psychology class, but it counted as our final exam. <shrug>

Mine lasted up until about two hours before the last class before getting broken. That sucked, big time! At least I still managed to pass the final exam :)

I had my egg "baby" scrambled for dinner! I had a good time telling my friends I was eating my baby! Later, it seemed kinda sad and sick.

You're sick! Baby Eater! :P

edit: I guess that's probably why they use electronic babies nowadays.
