FINALLY UP!!!!! THANK GOD! i was gonna have to kill somebody if it wasn't up in time. i almost missed the beginning of the movie "the lost boys" because of you, lonelygirl15 creators! for shame!!!

Well, YAY! I finally saw it. And it's cool that Gemma is canon, as a lot of people suspected right away. It will be interesting to see how they use this character, as she is in London. I imagine she won't actually be in any of the action, but will be a good excuse for Bree to send video messages to her about what is going on, and to perhaps get another perspective on the Order.

I was kind of hoping for more from the video, but we spend so much time speculating here, that I think we are often mentally ahead of what the videos have actually revealed.

I don't know...I disagree with the hate spawning already for this video. I very much enjoyed it. It was a nice, smooth way to introduce a new character into the mix while adding in a splash of old Bree (friends with gophers and turtles).

Worth waiting for.

yeah ... I think the wait was better than the video, actually.

i agree. this doesn't flow correctly. I'm trying to blink the cognitive dissonance away, but it's not working.

She DID sound a little drugged though. So maybe that's why...

Maybe things didn't go so well when she told her folks.

in fairness to this the creators never intended for us to be clicking refresh for 3 plus hours so really the fact that it was anticlimatic isn't there fault

I would say it shows it's canon and here's why:

If it weren't canon, there are some potential problems the creators would have walked right into: if Bree is saying that Gemma knows her from back then, we can assume that Gemma's comments about what happened in Brees past (when they were friends) are true. If she isn't controlled by the creators then this could create some huge gaps in continuity. Plus I interpret it as saying "watch Gemma's films, they are important."
They don't really need to encourage fan videos that much, there are a BUNCH of them.

ok, so i just watched that video, instead of waiting for "the lost boys" to end, and missed most of the first scene waiting for my computer to load and then for me to watch that. what the hell, man? that was nothing! the only good point in it was that owen was mentioned. but she mentioned him last anyway! what a bum deal!

I was all freaked out when I logged on because there were 13 pages about this video and I couldn't even view it. Finally, I look into this thread and find you guys managed to fill FIFTEEN PAGES before the vid was even up!

This is hard-core sad. Even sadder is the fact that I feel I *missed* something by not being here to contribute to that fifteen.

If Bree's injections are meant to help her kick a serious internet habit, I need that prescription.

People were speculating that given the age difference between Gemma and Bree (which would have meant more when they were younger), they probably weren't all that interested in hanging out with each other.
