Well, we have a new color in the hair right now, hopefully it'll take. I DIDN'T use Feria, from what I read on different hair forums it's the harshest of the hair dye spectrum. I didn't go blonde, because I was scared of the results, so it's a "medium golden brown"....

If this doesn't work, bald spot or not, I am SHAVING MY WHOLE DAMN HEAD.

Just wanted to say a quick thankyou to all who wished me a happy birthdqay yesterday.

Some of my real life friends didnt even remember

Awww, poor Mirage! I haven't dyed my hair in a while (well, ever since my dad married a woman who owns her own salon) but I remember having pretty bad experiences, but never that bad!
Figured I'd pop in and give sympathy, my mom is currently napping, then it's back to letting her show me how to do stupid things like sew runners and hang curtain rods!
But good news, once I have time to do anything with it, my mom brought me CDs with pictures from my sisters wedding on them, so I now have piccies to share, so look for those either late tomorrow or Monday.

I miss my girls! *hugs FP, Verty, and Mirage, since she knows they'll read it eventually*

Thanks for the sympathy. I've got no self esteem whatsover, so this hair thing is bugging me out in the extreme. I actually had a good cry about it last night. *sigh*

Good luck with the medium golden brown. Let's hope it doesn't leave a gray spot.

Ok, it's done. And thank all the Hair Gods there's NO SILVER/GREY/PURPLE LEFT!!! YAY!! w00t!! *cue music*. I mean, it's not fabulous. It turned out a lot darker then I thought it would, which makes me look washed out with my pale skin. So tomorrow I'm gonna go and pick up a highlighting kit, and hopefully that will help a little.

So pictures will come eventually, once I'm comfortable enough to share them.

Okay, I have come to the conclusion that God hates me.

I meet a *gorgeous* girl on a singles website. We chat on MSN briefly last week, not long but long enough to talk a bit, see each other on webcam (stunning!) and she's really wanting to chat later, when she gets back from a brief trip for a couple days. I don't hear from her until today. When she tells me that she got my chat handle confused with someone else's, she started talking more with him thinking he was me...and is now going out with him as of last night.

I give up.

But you know what they say about internet romance. Doesn't work out. Because where's the connection? Sure, you see the pictures and read the pretty words, but it lacks that emotional connective tissue necessary in lasting relationships.

And don't give up. I don't believe that anyone is destined to be alone. There is someone out there just as eager to live the rest of their life with you.

I hate when my friends forget. It's not that I didn't get a gift or a rendition of "Happy Birthday"...it's just the purpose of the thing. Everyone is allowed to feel special one day a year and be doted on.
So I'm glad you were able to "spend" your birthday with us. Because you know the parties we throw here--wild!
