idk, I guess you're right. The potential for much more interesting plotlines is there if they are older. But it appears the Order won't be testing Kate's ribozyme concentration anytime soon.

I think charlie is actualy the possible interesting character. Shes from australia and we know there are order houseing estates over there. Where bree grew up as a young child

Also, maybe they made Kate older because there are quite a lot of LG15 fans around the same age as Kate so they're aiming it at that demographic?

Who knows? Not me. I just wanted to use the word demographic...

As far as i know kates name is just a word play on the Tate Modern art museum in london. Which is a suggestion of her artisic characteristics
