An Irish version of the tale has a ne'er-do-well named Drunk Jack or Stingy Jack who makes a deal with the Devil; offering up his soul in exchange for payment of his pub tab. When the Devil comes to collect his due, Jack tricks him by making him climb a tree and then carving a cross underneath, preventing him from climbing down. In exchange for removing the cross, the Devil forgives Jack's debt. However, as no one as bad as Jack would ever be allowed into Heaven, Jack is forced upon his death to travel to Hell and ask for a place there. The Devil denies him entrance in revenge, but, as a boon, grants Jack an ember from the fires of Hell to light his way through the twilight world to which lost souls are forever condemned. Jack places it in a carved turnip to serve as a lantern.

I remember reading this tale in Sean's blog before he deleted everything. He dies and is denied stay in heaven or hell? and then comes back, and goes to bonfires and when people seek him he just vanishes? this is all interesting but I gotta go or I'll get in trouble.

But it was in one of the video titles, as well as a tag. His email ([email protected]) was also a clue.

Have you looked at Sean's myspace photos? There are some for Abel that I don't know what to make of.

Well I'd seen those a long time ago. Which ones do you think are for Abel? I thought most of those are weird, including the captions he includes.

I was able to read some of the blurry texts in Gone Again. There's some important details, but here I'd like to point out the funny stuff:

From the first news report:

Cause of death is undetermined at this time, though the neighbor was quoted as saying, "I'm sure it had something to do with all that goat worshipin', Ouija board, Beatle's music, water bong crap they all indulged in."

From the milk carton:

"Ethernal Light" missing since 1999(?)
Modified(?) child may suffer tunnel vision entropy and dark corners.
If found please contact Les Invisibles through acts of prayer and sacrifice.

He added some new ones in a folder that says for Abel. They are odd.

Ok so I checked those pics. Interesting. In one of them there's a link to a yahoo maps page, but it didn't work for me.

However, it was immediatly clear to me that those were latitude/longitude coordinates, and I used them on google maps. They point to Elba Island right there in the Savannah river. There's a natural gas facility there. Here are some links:

Article on the facility by Moran (tugboat company with the M logo on the boat in the pics)

Also, there's a pic of the the Waving Girl statue in Savannah, the same statue which Mr.Gone has a pic of in his comments page profile.
