... yeah.
So... the sequel to the game was a movie?
Final fantasy 7 was the biggest selling game in the series so they decided to expand the story. To round up the story adn cash in with there super amazing Computer Generated graphics combined with the bigest selling game everyone wants a remake of they made a movie out of.

In short They wrote a story to tie up lose ends and showed what every gamer has whished for. A full CG Battle between Cloud and Sephiroth
This isnt an order from washington...not like the old days and its not something the UN can officialaly sanction either. This isnt justice its a hired hit. LIQUID MUST DIE

Oh, ok.

I still don't get why they didn't make it a game, though.

Becuase everyone wants a remake more than a sequal. They cant make a story out of a world thats already been saved.

my dad said off for the last time cu later

Wait... is the movie an actual sequel, or is it just the game in movie form?

Bye Zane!

The movie is a sequel (of sorts). Final Fantasy VII was the most successful game in the Final Fantasy franchise, and has been rated as one of the greatest games of all time. Because of this success, Tetsuya Nomura decided to make a Final Fantasy VII Compilation to celebrate the original game that helped revolutionize the industry. The FFVII Compilation includes 5 games, 2 films (including Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children), and 2 novellas.

So I guess what I'm saying is that they DID make sequels that were games (like Dirge of Cerberus), but Advent Children was made into a film instead.

Last night I had a dream about you
In this dream I'm dancing right beside you
And it looked like everyone was having fun
the kind of feeling I've waited so long

Don't stop come a little closer
As we jam the rythm gets stronger
There's nothing wrong with just a little little fun
We were dancing all night long

The time is right to put my arms around you
You're feeling right
You wrap your arms around too
But suddenly I feel the shining sun
Before I knew it this dream was all gone
