I don't need an account, but can't let a WoW thread go unloved. Does anybody else here play? I play Alliance on Archmonde.

I'd love to, but...

1) I hate paying for online gaming. Yay for Guild Wars!

2) I get addicted to this shit and then I'd be spending all kinds of cash.

3) I hate just starting out and being a newbie in multiplayer stuff. I feel like a dork, and I hate whining to someone if I can join their party. :D

You can always join my party Mirage!

I hear ya about paying a monthly fee. It does bug me too, but WoW does a good job of doing like special activities and things that only last a couple of weeks. For holidays and things like that, so at least it feels like it gets updated a lot.

I mainly play with people I know in rl, so I don't usually have to beg strangers to let me join their party. I've never really had any issues on teamspeak either, because I'm usually in a channel with real life friends. When I'm not it is usually just a few minutes of OMG YOU ARE A REAL GIRL! Then they realize I can still play and it's not a big deal.
