Missing Taylor video found!

On Youtube there is a Taylor video that the creators never uploaded to the lg15.com website. Don't know why, maybe because they wanted to get rid of the Sam storyline. Anyway, the link to this video is http://youtube.com/watch?v=PX_kEDNSUFY

Maybe some of you already saw this, but I put it up here so that the people who didn't see it, can also watch it.

I guess this answers our question about why it was never shown. It was a filler vid at a time when everyone was tired of filler vids. Added to that, it makes Taylor's friendship with Sam seem to be fine, which would have probably led to us wondering why Sam was never shown while the rest of TAAG was in Zavalla.

It also painted Taylor's mom as more rational than we had previously thought, so it would have limited the ease for future conflict a bit.

I can't watch this video right now b/c I'm at work, but let me write something up that might have happened with this video...

Maybe they decided not to post this video because it went along with a storyline that ended up not happening. Remember how the creators told us that someone else was supposed to play the new girl, but the actress dropped out at the last moment so they had to rewrite things?

I bet Sam was supposed to be the new girl. The actress playing her dropped out and they decided to switch it around and make Jules the new girl. That would be why Taylor orginally started talking about her best friend Sam, then as soon as Jules came along she completely dropped the subject and never mentioned her ever again.

actually this is one of the videos that was found when the LG index was found off of the Hymn of One web site.

It's not the "missing" video...they just didn't upload it at all after that incident.

I think you are right. That would make sense, it would also explain why they decided to go with someone who already had vids, so they could quickly implement the new character into the series and continue the story with her. Plus it would further explain why Taylor looks a bit disconnected from the story right now. She would have had a more important part when it really WAS her friend Sam.

you seem to know more about this? This vid wasn't planned to become part of the story? Are there more like this one?

I suppose it could be considered the "lost" video then? After all, it's not part of the official series, but it's clearly part of the story. Plus it sheds a little light on Taylor and Sarah's mother, especially the part about her having no friends and being overly pushy.

The Sam thing is intriguing. Perhaps they were looking at a "younger" storyline and went with big sis instead and a more mature plot line? It was shortly after this that Sarah was introduced in the video series as herself rather than just someone Taylor spoke about.

Very plausible.

Interesting video. It seems like Taylor's character has changed a lot.

Originally, she was plain-looking, soccer-obsessed, and deferential.

In more recent videos, she's been attractive, an elite hacker, and responsible/in control.

Weird. I like the new Taylor better, though - I couldn't stand her "soccer soccer soccer blah blah soccer soccer" vids.
