Ok, solved it.

In “What Did Daniel and Dad Talk About?”, when Daniel gets close to lighting the altar candles, you can see a clear close-up shot... of a light-swtich.

Guess I'm now taking up the light-switch cause...

Okay, so I wonder who these people "who dedicate their lives to keeping the ceremonies a secret" are? I wonder if they are dangerous (I might be if all I had to do with my life was keep things "secret")?
I bet the bald guy in Daniels ceremony vid is one of these "secret-keepers".

very possible. if we're assuming they're a fictional Order, seems like they work in an almost beehivelike manner. i don't know if that makes any sense to you guys... but it's like, there's secret-keepers (bald dude), helpers like lucy, etc etc- everybody has their one small job to fulfill that aids in the overall purpose of the group. question is what does that make Bree or her parents?

i guess really a lot of things other than beehives kinda work that way, but bees are just cool. i don't know if this is illumnating or not, it just came to me and is allowing me to procrastinate on my real work longer, so now you guys have it. ingore it at your leisure.

Hmmm, how is Bree going to find out what is going on without giving the fact that Daniel did a little B&E?

I don't think she's going to prance up to Lucy and ask her straight out why she has Daniel's pictures on her computer. The obvious question would be "how do you know that?".

Looks like Bree is going to have to do a little snooping of her own now if she really wants to know what's going on. Maybe that's where she'll be for the next few hours.

Bree just stops there, like shes scared to admit the rest of her sentence.

First thing that popped into my head was "I can't be held responsible" or "I can't help/protect you."

I find it terribly exciting that Bree is still warning Daniel off and looks genuinely upset that Daniel might be in danger. I also think that she would also feel a little responsible should anything happen to him. (Religious Ninjas attack in the night! Wha cha!)

Good question, who are these people? Moreover, what is it about their religion that needs to be kept so secretive? Most religions I'm acquainted with are pretty eager to "inform and educate" others... Even if it's Aleister Crowley-related, neither he nor his followers were kept secret... as we have all found right here on the information superhighway.

So what, exactly, are they protecting?

Woohoo She still cares.

The thing on the wall could be one of those air con control thingies (thats what it looks like to me anyway)

Bree say's she is going to be gone for a couple of hours almost like she just thought of it. I got a feeling she is going to try and find out about the pics of Daniel. I got a bad feeling about this.

yeah that was an interesting moment- yeah my first thought was either "i can't protect you anymore" or "i can't help you"

like either she knows that they know and she's been trying to keep them off his ass for awhile now, or the people who are gonna hurt/kill him are much, much mroe powerful than her. doesn't she also say something akin to "you don't know how powerful these people are."?
