Yes well it's a FACT that Keira Knightley wouldn't be returning, so the fourth movie would be more of a spin-off than anything. The creators of the trilogy want the franchise to continue somehow, though.

I do love them, but four would just be too much of a good thing. They can't keep coming up with good stuff, and I'ld rather they quit while they were ahead.

right, you dont want a movie that would be bad and ruin the entire series.

That's a good point. Sometimes I wish they had done that with Stargate....

I think that when there is a successful franchise like PotC, the studios milk them for all they're worth. It happens all the time. I'm so relieved and grateful that the creators of Lost decided not to do that.

I almost think I'd prefer a bad fourth one, just so long as it would tie up all the loose ends the third one left.
